Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
#1
As we all know, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer was recently released.  This match up has been talked about for a very long time now, and I want to see who you guys think would win.  Personally, I think Batman would crush Superman.  Here are some reasons why I think Batman is better than Superman.
  • Batman uses fear as a weapon
  • Batman has a lot of money to fund his night job
  • Batman has Kryptonite
  • Batman learned his abilities, they weren't just given to him

Ok, gonna squash this REAL quick. Couple things to think about first, Batman is a mortal. He is extremely intelligent. He personally devised a way to KILL every single member of the Justice League just incase they ever went bad. High tech weaponry and gadgets? Hells yea. Unfortunately the reality of this story is Superman without throwing a punch could end Batman. Let's start with Superman's weaknesses. Kryptonite, Red Sun Radiation, Magical powers, and lead. Radiation leaves him more of a normal being, lead he can't see through, kryptonite (dur), and Magical powers he is not immune to because his powers are biological, not supernatural. Therefore magic affects him like anyone else though it cannot kill him (unless like God status). Although Zatanna teaches him some tricks to counter it so he is smart enough to not fall for shit. I assume we are talking the current Superman so his powers include anythings you've seen in the movies and more. His most recent ability allows to to dispel ALL solar power from his body in a form of a literal atom bomb type explosion. He survives but it leaves him vulnerable for 24 hours. His laser vision? Psh, destroys galaxies, or can be focused into such a beam that it performs and instant labotomy. End Batman. That doesn't count the numerous other powers he has, ALL on a God like level compared to humans. The only limit to Supermans powers are the mental blocks he placed on himself. Fanboy says Batman, realist says Superman. Feel free to argue.

I agree with you, BUT given the time to prepare I think Batman could possibly take a victory.  And what if Batman had a power ring of fear, I heard that somewhere I forgot where though.  I want to read that comic actually.

Edit: Found it.

Psh, y'all don't know shit. Aquaman would obviously crush both of them.
It's funny how axe handles are made of wood.
It's like the ultimate 'Fuck you' to trees.
Yes, they have axes in Canada.

Superman would still crush Batman. He's give a hell of a fight, but I feel ultimately it would end in the same result.

Let's all just take a second and remember that this has already been settled. Batman has already beaten Superman. In the comics, in animation. This fight is already complete. It just depends on if they honor that or if they go in a different direction. Don't get me wrong, Superman totally has every bit of the power and ability to win, let's just remember that DC itself has already said that Batman can beat Superman Smile
Freedom is the right of all sentient beings...except creepers. Screw em.

Ehhhh we won't call that beat. I've watched the Dark Knight Returns. (Technically Green Arrow fired the shot) It's not so much beat as in gave him a run for his money. Besides, Superman only gets stronger with age as he learns to break down his barriers and learn new powers and make his current ones stronger. Trust me, I HATE giving it to Superman, but I don't think Superman was going at full power with Batman. There's no way.
